We are seeking a detail-oriented Permits Coordinator to support our growing team in delivering compliant, timely, and efficient project outcomes. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in the timely preparation and submission of traffic control permit applications.
About the Job
* Manage traffic control permit applications across South East Queensland, ensuring compliance with council and Queensland Police Service requirements.
* Liaise with local councils through their online systems and track application statuses to meet tight timeframes.
* Collaborate with the design team and offshore support to align permit applications with Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS).
* Maintain accurate records and communications to support invoicing and project timelines.
* Communicate with clients about permit requirements, timelines, and progress updates.
Key Responsibilities
As a Permits Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
* Coordinating and preparing traffic control permit applications to ensure timely submissions.
* Liaising with local councils and tracking application statuses to meet project deadlines.
* Collaborating with the design team to ensure permit applications align with Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS).
* Managing and maintaining accurate records and communications to support project timelines and invoicing.
* Providing clear and concise communication with clients regarding permit requirements, timelines, and progress updates.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Experience in permit coordination or traffic-related compliance.
* Working knowledge of Traffic Guidance Schemes and local council permit systems.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.
* Proficient in Excel and Google Docs.
