Public Law Specialist Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Law Specialist to join our team in Perth.
Job Description:
As a Public Law Specialist, you will work closely with senior lawyers on public law litigation and NDIS-related matters, assisting them in preparing for conferences, conciliations, and hearings in the Administrative Review Tribunal. Your primary focus will be on disability and insurance access and planning matters under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will also handle Commonwealth employee compensation matters.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior lawyers in researching and analyzing legal issues related to public law and NDIS matters.
* Prepare documentation and present cases in administrative tribunals, ensuring effective communication of complex information.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop strategies for resolving disputes and achieving optimal outcomes for clients.
About You:
* You hold an Australian law degree or equivalent and have a keen interest in litigation, particularly public law.
* You possess excellent research and analytical skills, with attention to detail and practical problem-solving abilities.
