Zoomlion Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager (Capital Sales) to lead crane sales and market development across Victoria. This is a key role as we continue expanding our footprint in the lifting and heavy machinery sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and grow the crane portfolio in Victoria
* Build strong relationships with crane hire companies, construction contractors, infrastructure partners and major project stakeholders
* Identify new business opportunities across mobile cranes, crawler cranes and tower cranes
* Maintain and develop existing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long‑term partnerships
* Track market activity, competitor products and emerging project opportunities across the region
* Provide product and market feedback to internal teams to support product improvement and future planning
* Represent Zoomlion at industry events, trade shows and customer demonstrations
* Work closely with service, technical, logistics and marketing teams to ensure smooth delivery and support
* Travel across Victoria to meet customers and support business growth
Requirements
* Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Minimum five years' experience in cranes, lifting equipment, heavy machinery or related business development
* Strong understanding of the Victorian crane and construction market
* Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
* Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
* Highly self‑driven with the ability to work independently and manage a strong sales pipeline
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly
* Have a capital sales and/or heavy equipment hire
