Job Description
We are seeking a professional to support our world-class Airborne Early Warning and Control capability program. The role is based in Williamtown NSW, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management.
The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for providing redundancy for other supply chain specialists within the organisation, as well as maintaining tool control compliance to meet or exceed audit requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Action Weekly and Monthly calibration due reports by collecting assets due for calibration
* Maintaining inventory control - establish and maintain tooling traceability using the tool control database
* Populate/develop tooling content lists (including photo integrity) to enable high levels of tool control and identification
* Maintain a safe and ergonomic workplace/environment
* Toolstore housekeeping - maintain a professional and highly organised tool control environment and identify improvements and lean initiatives
Experience/Qualifications:
* Proficient in the management and control of inventory
* High level of competency in written and oral communication
* Confident in the use of MS office computer software, primarily excel
* An enthusiasm for working with suppliers and identifying new opportunities and relationships.
* High level of communication skills and professionalism
* Experience working within a Defence Aviation environment (highly desirable)
* NV1 Australian Government Security clearance at minimum (highly desirable)
