What you will do as the Secretariat Officer As a member of the Secretariat Team, you will provide high-standard administrative support to the Commission and its committees, contributing to governance improvements.
Your responsibilities will include: Providing secretariat services for ACCC Committees, including coordinating and scheduling meetings, finalizing agendas and minutes, and monitoring action item registers.
Compiling papers for submission to committees, ensuring compliance with style guides, and distributing materials timely.
Supporting Commissioners and senior executives to ensure effective meetings and accurate recording of decisions.
Assisting team members within the Executive Office with various tasks to support the branch and organization.
About You To succeed in this role, you will have: Relevant experience in secretariat, governance, or administration roles.
Proven ability to: Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Pay strong attention to detail.
Communicate clearly and effectively across different mediums.
Engage and collaborate with others.
Apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills, interpreting policies and procedures.
Use office technologies and applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and records management systems.
