A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Helicopter Training Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of rotary-wing training and checking operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting operational duties, developing training capabilities, and ensuring compliance with civil aviation legislation.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in helicopter operations, including remote area and unimproved landing area operations, as well as Part 138 Aerial work operations. They will have demonstrated experience in operational and organizational management, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement training procedures and documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Liaise with external training providers to establish and manage training programs
* Conduct training sessions and checks to ensure crew competency and adherence to company policies
* Maintain accurate records of training activities and crew performance
Requirements:
* Australian CPL(H) qualification
* Minimum 3 years and 500 hours of remote area and unimproved landing area operations experience
* Minimum 3 years and 500 hours of Part 138 Aerial work operations experience, including firefighting and/or SAR EMS Operations
* Demonstrated experience in operational and organizational management
