About The Role
Here at PPS Group, we are seeking Project Engineers at all experience levels to join our diverse project teams for projects kicking off in the new year.
As we expand our contracts and take on new projects, our Projects team is looking for experienced engineers to deliver our dewatering and piping projects, integrated with civil construction works.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in development of detailed project plans and schedules that outlines objectives, scope, timelines, budgets and milestones
* Assist in management of budgets, estimates, expenses and forecasting
* Assist in bidding and tenders
* Define projects scope, deliverables and objective criteria
* Act as liaison between clients, vendors contractors and internal teams
* Provides guidance and mentorship to team members
* Follows all HSEQ requirements
* Reporting, quoting, allocating and supporting the project team as needed
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering
* Able to work a 2:1 FIFO Roster
* Experience in civil construction and/or SMP environments
* Knowledge of pumps, pipework, hydro testing, and civil earthworks (desirable)
* Experience contributing to site-based project delivery
* Familiarity with project planning and document control (CMS, SMP, QMP, HSEMP)
* Exposure to QA/QC processes and managing technical queries
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling tools
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
