Aviation Protection Officers Part Time & Casual positions available
Trident Services are seeking dedicated Part Time & Casual Aviation Protection Officers at Mackay Airport.
If you have full working rights and are currently living in Mackay, we are looking for you. No previous experience required; we will provide PAID training including a Certificate 2 in Transport Security. Your role will involve screening passengers through the security screening point and learning a range of other aviation security skills, utilizing the most advanced security screening equipment in Australia.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate ability to engage with customers, consistently providing a high quality, positive experience.
* Demonstrate potential to undertake screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment.
* Apply skills, knowledge, and physical ability to perform all Security and Safety emergency procedures.
* Ensure compliance with security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Consistently display professional standards of behavior and personal presentation.
* Work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing team environment.
* Complete incident reports as required.
* Engage with travellers and visitors in a positive manner when they are transiting, arriving, and departing the terminal.
Requirements
* Ability to obtain endorsements for Aviation Transport Security Protection Qualification (TSP).
* Great communication and customer-service skills.
* Willingness to learn and be part of a team environment.
* Ability to obtain an ASIC Card – full criminal history check.
* Ability to pass a drug and alcohol check.
* Driver's licence and transport access.
* Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
