Senior leadership opportunity in Pharmacy Services

Join Metro South Health as the Advanced Pharmacist Team Lead (Research & Education) and play a key leadership role in delivering advanced pharmacy services, driving research activity and leading departmental education. This temporary part-time HP5 position is ideal for an experienced pharmacist who thrives in clinical leadership, evidence-based practice and growing team capability.

Your new role:

In this senior role, you will lead advanced pharmacy services across Logan and Beaudesert, supporting excellence in patient care, research and departmental education. You will provide clinical leadership, drive research initiatives and support professional governance of the Pharmacy Department.

You will:

- Deliver advanced clinical and consultancy pharmacy services with a high level of independence
- Lead research, education and Quality Use of Medicines projects
- Guide the development of clinical practices, procedures and evidence-based protocols
- Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to pharmacists, interns, cadets and students
- Support workforce planning, rostering, performance development and operational coordination

About you:

You are an experienced pharmacist with advanced clinical skills, strong leadership capability and a passion for education and research. You thrive in complex clinical environments and enjoy supporting others to grow.

You will bring:

- Advanced clinical pharmacy expertise and high-level decision-making skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and multidisciplinary teamwork capability
- Demonstrated leadership in service development, research or innovative models of care
- Experience mentoring and supervising pharmacists, interns and students
- Ability to manage workloads, staffing and performance requirements
