Account Growth Strategist
Periodically assess key accounts to review performance and realign strategies with business goals. Work alongside account managers to execute quarterly business reviews, reinforce their plans, and propose value-added services that increase revenue and retention.
Day-to-Day Activities
* Conduct regular strategy meetings with clients and account managers.
* Assess results, highlight successes, and recommend next-phase tactics.
* Establish senior-level trust quickly; tailor advice to each client's industry and profit and loss (P&L) statement.
* Identify gaps where additional digital marketing services add value and pitch them.
* Prepare with account managers beforehand; mentor on approach and follow through on commitments.
* Participate in select new-business pitches when a deeper strategy is needed.
Requirements
* Up to 15 years of experience in digital marketing or agency account growth.
* A working knowledge of SEO, PPC, social media, content, CRO, and analytics.
* A proven ability to grow accounts and retain clients.
* Comfort discussing business models, revenue drivers, and return on investment.
* Strong presentation skills; calm under executive scrutiny.
