About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary leader to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our brigade, you will be responsible for assisting in leading, managing, and developing staff in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will assist in leading, managing, and developing staff in the kitchen by reporting directly to the Head Chef.
* Train and develop the skills of kitchen staff.
* Roster staff effectively within labour guidelines.
* Create and cost menu items to meet business objectives.
* Drive menu updates to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Manage food safety systems to maintain high standards.
* Assist in maintaining relationships with suppliers.
* Implement and manage procedures and systems to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently.
Skill and Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess relevant training qualifications and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role. You should be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, motivating and developing staff to achieve exceptional results.
