KPMG 2026 Audit Graduate Programme – Newcastle. KPMG in the UK is part of a global organisation that offers Audit, Consulting, Tax & Law and Technology services. Through the talent of over 16,000 people, we turn insights into opportunities, making a positive difference for businesses, people and communities. Audit is about more than simply meeting legal requirements; it helps organisations operate more efficiently and mitigate financial risks, and it supports public trust in businesses and sustainable growth.
Audit Graduate Programme offers diversity and complexity. In your role as a graduate trainee, you'll learn about a wide range of business activities, as you work on engagements. You'll see the auditing process from different perspectives, gaining skills and learning that will last a lifetime. You'll play a direct role in critically assessing information provided by organisations, supported by senior leaders, engagement leaders, peers, and the broader Audit community. This role calls for integrity, professional scepticism, objectivity, independence, and a strong ethical foundation. Over three years you'll combine audit delivery and study to work towards a professional qualification – the ACA, or CA equivalent in Scotland. Depending on the office you join, you may work in a specific industry sector or across a variety of industries. After completing your qualification, learning and career opportunities continue, helping you build an exciting and varied long-term career.
Training and benefits include a competitive salary and a host of benefits such as 25 days' holiday, study leave, and a day off on your birthday. Each year you can take up to six days to participate in volunteering initiatives. The hybrid working model balances working from home with collaborating and learning in offices or at client sites. Some travel is likely for audit work, and there are busy periods during the year.
