Due to internal promotions, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join theMotoring Dispatch Teamon a part-time casual basis, working flexible shifts between6:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
About the Role
Reporting to theDispatch Shift Team Leader, this role is integral to delivering exceptional member service. You will be responsible for the efficient allocation of roadside resources and maintaining member relationships during vehicle breakdown experiences.
What will you be doing?
As a Dispatcher, your responsibilities will include:
Allocating roadside resources efficiently to meet service standards.
Collaborating with resources, managers, and support teams to ensure effective service delivery.
Communicating effectively and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Providing proactive, exceptional service during member vehicle breakdowns.
Ensuring workplace safety for yourself, team members, and RAC members.
Working with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements.
What are we looking for in you?
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes:
Relevant Experience: Previous experience in dispatch or logistics environments.
Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts Monday to Sunday between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
Communication Skills: Strong relationship-building and communication abilities.
Service Excellence: A strong focus on delivering outstanding service.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
Adaptability: Willingness to embrace and adapt to change in a dynamic workplace.
