We are seeking experienced heavy plant mechanics to join our regional teams.
About the Role
This is a permanent opportunity with ongoing projects in Western Australia, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and safe work practices. You will work closely with site supervisors and the maintenance crew to ensure plant availability and reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
* Fault find, diagnose and repair heavy diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and final drives
* Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing and plant inspection checks
* Attend breakdowns and provide timely, safe repairs on site or in the workshop
* Maintain accurate maintenance records, service sheets and parts requests
The ideal candidate will have:
* A trade qualification or formal apprenticeship as a Diesel/Heavy Fitters or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated experience working on heavy plant - excavators, loaders, graders, rollers, tipper trucks etc.
* Strong hydraulics, powertrain and diesel engine fault-finding skills
* A current driver's licence (manual preferred) and reliable transport
