The Role
As an APS 6 Senior Industry Intelligence Analyst you will deliver complex analysis and research that supports Defence policy, planning and capability decisions. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, providing accurate advice and mentoring junior analysts, while contributing to the continuous uplift of the Industry Intelligence Capability (IIC). You may lead discrete analytical tasks or products, coordinate inputs from others, and act as a subject-matter expert in one or more industry intelligence domains.
Key duties you will:
* Undertake complex research and analysis to produce high-quality intelligence products across IIC priority areas.
* Provide specialist analytical advice to stakeholders on industry capability, capacity, supply chains and economic considerations.
* Lead or coordinate the delivery of intelligence products, ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness.
* Translate complex data and analysis into clear, decision-ready insights for senior audiences.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with Defence stakeholders and partners.
* Support the development of junior staff through mentoring, guidance and quality assurance.
* Contribute to the improvement of analytical methods, products, systems and governance.
