Consultant - Physician - Palliative Care

This is a Permanent Part Time appointment for 12 hours per fortnight (0.15 FTE).
What is our Consultant - Physician - Palliative Care role?
As Consultant Palliative Care you will provide a clinical service in palliative and supportive care to patients of the gynaecological oncology service at Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS). You will work with patients to manage symptoms and alleviate pain, whilst addressing social and emotional needs of patients and their families. The role also involves contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs, educating and guiding other healthcare professionals in palliative care practices. The position reports to the Head of Department - Oncology.
