Position Overview
Sid Foggs Australia are seeking a reliable and safety-focused School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school in the Bulahdelah and surrounding areas. The successful applicant will play an important role in ensuring students travel safely, comfortably, and on time while representing the organisation in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a school bus on designated routes in and around Bulahdelah
* Pick up and drop off students at scheduled stops and school locations
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students while boarding, travelling, and disembarking
* Maintain orderly behaviour on the bus and follow child safety guidelines
* Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or safety concerns promptly
* Keep accurate records as required (run sheets, attendance, incident reports)
* Comply with NSW road rules, RMS/Transport for NSW regulations, and company policies
* Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
Desirable Requirements
* Valid NSW Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver Licence
* Valid NSW Driver Authority (DA) or willingness to obtain
* Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
* Good driving record and strong knowledge of road safety
* Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with children, parents, and school staff
* Punctual, dependable, and able to work split shifts (morning and afternoon school runs)

Desirable Attributes
* Previous experience driving a school bus or passenger vehicle
* Knowledge of the Bulahdelah and Mid North Coast area
* Patient, calm, and responsible attitude
