Rehabilitation Specialist

You will collaborate with a team of dedicated allied health professionals, supporting clients on their path to return to work and life after physical or psychological injuries.
As a Rehabilitation Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
1. Initial Assessments and Planning: Providing comprehensive rehabilitation assessments and planning to assist clients with physical injuries and psychosocial barriers, facilitating participation in Graduated Return to Work Programs.
2. Case Management: Managing cases for clients returning to their previous employment or transitioning to new roles.
3. Service Delivery: Delivering services within your clinical scope, including worksite assessments, functional capacity evaluations, ergonomic assessments, injury prevention training, and work task analyses.
4. Collaboration and Liaison: Coordinating a holistic treatment approach, liaising with treating practitioners to monitor progress and adjust plans.
5. Medical Coordination: Collaborating with medical teams to assess and recommend on clients' physical health, wellbeing, and work capacity.
6. Documentation: Documenting case notes and reports in detail.
7. Support for Veterans: Supporting veterans in achieving their psychosocial, medical, and vocational goals.
8. Insurance and Employer Partnerships: Gaining experience working across various insurance schemes and with self-insured employers.
9. Training and Development: Receiving training to deliver the Virtual Reality Empowered Pain program for clients with persistent pain.
