Elastotec

Elastotec designs, manufactures and distributes premium pulley lagging and ceramic wear panel components for the global mining industry. We're targeting to double our sales over the next three years.

Purpose of role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Sales Account Manager for our pulley lagging team. This comprehensive sales role involves being the single point of contact for customer accounts, managing the complete sales cycle from business development through to technical support.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced sales professional with technical aptitude who can build relationships across all organizational levels and manage complex B2B sales cycles. You must thrive in our self-managed, autonomous culture while being results-driven.

Main duties and responsibilities

Account Management & Business Development

·Build relationships with customer management, procurement, and operations teams

* Identify and develop new business opportunities
* Negotiate commercial agreements and manage complete sales process
* Actively pursue new customer acquisition in assigned territories

Technical Sales Support

·Work with customer operations and engineering teams on product applications

* Provide technical training on pulley lagging application methods
* Make pulley lagging selection recommendations
* Support customers with technical problem-solving

Other Requirements

·Travel 50-100 days per year (domestic and international)

* Current driver's license and passport required
* Work from Somersby office when not travelling

Essential Experience

* Proven B2B sales track record, preferably in mining or industrial equipment
* Technical background or strong aptitude for technical products
* Ability to build long-term customer relationships

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)

* Extensive Travel: 50-100 days annually, managing customer relationships while traveling
* Technical/Commercial Balance: Communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences
* Complete Account Ownership: Single point of contact managing entire customer relationship
