Bring world-class museum, experience centres and exhibitions concepts to life.
* Impact: Drive design excellence for Exhibitions, Museums & Experience Centres.
* Culture: A collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves environment where innovation is celebrated.
* Role: 10–11 month fixed-term contract reporting to the Head of Design, Museums & Experience Centres
About the Role
We are looking for a creative Designer to join us for a 10-11 month maternity cover.
Our current portfolio includes a range of projects across both our Museums & Expo Divisions. Including community spaces, experience centres, museums, installations and activations for leading national and international brands.
This is a pivotal role where you will balance creative and high-level design within a small hands on team. You will be managing your own projects as well as working with a team of designers to deliver exceptional exhibition and permanent design solutions that captivate audiences.
Self managed, you will oversee the end-to-end design process - from initial concepts to final detailed design drawings ready for fabrication - ensuring every outcome aligns with our clients' goals, structural standards and our commitment to excellence.
What You will be doing
Your time will be focused across three key areas:
* Team Collaboration : Supporting and inspiring each other by fostering a culture of generosity and shared knowledge.
* Project Delivery : You will stay close to the work, developing creative concepts for Museums and Experience Centres. You'll manage your project timelines, mitigate project risks, and ensure solutions meet creative, accessibility and engagement requirements.
* Design Oversight : Act as the creative guardian, reviewing concepts to ensure they meet client briefs and production and company standards while pushing the boundaries of innovation and 3D visualisation.
Who You Are
You are a design professional with a people-first style. You thrive in high quality environments and aren't afraid to dive into the details to help the team succeed.
To be successful, you will bring:
* Experience: Minimum 5 years conceptual, documented and detailed design for public and commercial spaces
* Education: A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Design, or a related field.
* Tech Stack: Proficiency in 3D modelling (SketchUp) and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of construction materials, production processes, and visitor engagement
