Centre Cook – Young Academics Early Learning Centre – Mount Druitt
Full‐time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities
* Implement and modify (where required) a seasonal menu created by our nutritionist.
* Maintain regular checks in compliance with the NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations.
* Assist staff and families in providing high‐quality education and care.
* Collaborate with staff and families to facilitate learning opportunities relevant to the educational program.
* Maintain professional, supportive and respectful relationships between management, staff, families and children.
About You
* Demonstrated cook/chef experience in the aged care or early childhood education and care sector.
* ACECQA‐approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred but not mandatory.
* Alternatively, a relevant commercial cook qualification.
* Food Handlers Basics Certificate.
* Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
* Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF and NQS.
