**The Role**:
The International Logistics Coordinator for ANZ is responsible for managing the importation of goods in conjunction with freight forwarding and 3PL partners into our warehouse network across Australia and New Zealand.
This role requires a deep understanding of international trade, logistics and international trade laws and regulations, duties, tariffs, industry specific levies and requires a highly organised and detail-orientated professional to ensure the smooth and timely movement of goods.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and coordinate end to end international logistics
- Liaise with key stakeholders such as suppliers, carriers, customs and internal departments
- Maintain thorough and up to date knowledge of current international import/export regulatory requirements and update internal processes as regulations change
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of reports and documentation related to international logistics
- Identify opportunities to improve contracts with external logistics providers (shipping lines, freight forwarders etc) ensuring high levels of service are maintained at competitive prices
- Develop, implement and oversee the sue of systems led workflow digitisation, process workflow documentation including SOPs, KPI's, and risk mitigation strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales and customer experience teams to ensure customer satisfaction, timely deliveries and appropriate inventory levels
- Monitor, manage and resolve customer and transportation challenges
- Mitigate any risk of container detention or demurrage due to inadequate planning practices
**Does this sound like you**:
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or within a related field would be highly desirable
- Proven experience in an international logistics role preferably within the Australia and New Zealand market
- Strong knowledge of international trade compliance and regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms
- Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
- Exceptional organisational, communication (verbal and written) and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions
- Proficient in logistics and supply chain software
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
