Customer Support - Alcohol Transport & Logistics

Location: Morningside, QLD

Hours: Full-time - On-site at our Morningside offices

With a strong commitment to logistics excellence and customer service, we are looking for a proactive Transport & Logistics Customer Support Specialist to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised professional to provide exceptional customer support through inbound emails and calls. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a fun, fast-paced logistics environment and can quickly adapt to shifting priorities and customer requests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service – Collaborate with your team to manage a shared inbox and phone line, ensuring all customer inquiries are handled efficiently.
2. Customer Support – Respond to customer emails and calls, providing clear and timely updates on inbound and outbound stock movements.
3. Order & Booking Management – Enter bookings into our operating systems, confirm transport arrangements, and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and complete before dispatch.
4. Delivery Coordination – Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth pickup and delivery processes, including managing delivery time slots with distribution centres.
5. Problem Resolution – Identify and address delivery or booking issues quickly, providing solutions and keeping all relevant parties informed.
6. Pallet & Equipment Control – Assist with tracking and reconciling CHEP and Loscam pallets to minimise losses and maintain accurate records.
7. Reporting – Maintain accurate customer and order records, and assist with basic reporting as required by the operations team.

What You'll Need:

Experience – Previous experience in customer service within the transport or logistics industry will be highly regarded.

Technical Skills – Enthusiasm for learning our operating systems eg Carton Cloud, CHEP and Loscam pallet control systems, and various distribution centre booking platforms.

Communication – Friendly people loving person who stays calm under pressure, ensuring clear and professional interactions with customers, suppliers, and team members.

Attention to Detail – Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for accuracy, ensuring all bookings and paperwork are completed correctly before delivery.

Problem-Solving & Adaptability – Proactive approach to identifying issues, implementing effective solutions independently, and quickly shifting focus to accommodate the diverse and evolving requests from customers.

Team Player – A collaborative mindset, working efficiently within a shared inbox and supporting team members to maintain smooth operations.
