Little Sprouts Early Learning Centre is an established boutique Childcare Centre with a strong community presence. The role
Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Centre in line with company policies, procedures and targets.
Undertake a Nominated Supervisor role.
Develop a positive and engaging community presence.
Provide leadership, support and guidance to staff and students as required.
Develop a positive, cohesive work environment for all staff.
Manage rosters and attendance.
Induct and support new team members.
Implement initiatives to encourage increased occupancy rate.
Ensure the Centre is compliant with all Centre policies, State Legislation and National Quality Standards.
Ensure Health & Safety standards are always maintained in line with Company standards.
Qualifications and experience
Hold a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or, minimum, a diploma in early childhood education.
Current proven leadership experience and team management abilities in a long day care centre.
Experience in assessment and rating.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
Ability to maintain a professional manner in the workplace.
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), Education and Care Regulations and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
A valid ‘working with children check’ and ‘child protection certificate’.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
