A market leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced Payroll Business Analyst to support their payroll transformation and compliance initiatives. In this role, you'll deep-dive into payroll data, identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure processes meet internal and external standards. You'll play a key part in shaping data-driven decisions that impact thousands of employees.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Analyse payroll data to detect issues, trends and improvement opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with both internal payroll policies and relevant legislation.
* Identify, investigate and remediate discrepancies in employee payments.
* Translate business problems into data and analytical challenges, applying the right tools and methods for resolution.
* Present clear, compelling analysis to a variety of stakeholders.
* Manage large datasets with a focus on accuracy, governance and security.
* Use process mapping and continuous improvement techniques to optimise payroll workflows.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong analytical mindset, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work with complex payroll data at scale. You're comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and can turn technical analysis into actionable business insights.
You will offer:
* Demonstrated experience in payroll systems implementations
* Proven track record managing large datasets and applying sound data governance.
* Strong IT capability and business analyst experience.
* Hands-on experience with continuous improvement tools/methods.
* Data analysis and process mapping experience.
