Aboriginal Recovery Engagement Officer
A key role within the Broome Community Recovery Centre team is available for a dedicated and passionate Aboriginal Recovery Engagement Officer. This position provides cultural and organisational leadership, expertise to fellow staff and others delivering programs at the centre.
* This individual will work closely with the Aboriginal Mental Health Worker team, contributing to KMHDS's delivery of culturally safe and inclusive activities and groups.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Coordinating, designing, and delivering Recovery programs.
* Providing cultural expertise and leadership to those delivering programs at the BCRC, including community agencies.
* Supporting the Recovery Centre Coordinator with BCRC operations and administration.
The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, be able to build relationships with various stakeholders and have a passion for working in a recovery-based environment. The ability to navigate complex systems and networks would also be beneficial.
