The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a meticulous and highly organised Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
This is a crucial role where you'll be instrumental in managing building rules assessments, conducting essential site inspections, and maintaining accurate project documentation.

Your Responsibilities
- Lodge and manage applications through the Plan SA Portal.
- Conduct thorough building rules assessments and issue project approvals.
- Coordinate all necessary authority approvals and referrals.
- Maintain precise project registrations, databases, and client records.
- Prepare and issue professional reports, approvals, and expert advice.
- Perform site inspections and undertake interstate travel as required.
- Collaborate with consulting structural engineers on complex matters.
- Keep your professional accreditation up-to-date.
Skills & Qualifications
- You have previous experience as a building surveyor.
- You are highly proficient in time management and organisation, comfortable handling multiple priorities.
- You are an excellent communicator with strong report-writing skills.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and database management.
- A solid understanding of building control and development approval legislation is a significant advantage.
