About The Role:
Opteon is growing, our strategy is clear, but we're experiencing talent sourcing as a bottleneck to growth. Therefore, we're on the hunt for someone who is innovative, forwardthinking and solutions oriented - a natural problem solver who loves a challenge and brings extensive experience in talent acquisition to accelerate hiring outcomes.
Reporting to the Head of People, you'll co-design and execute our talent sourcing strategy across the A.NZ business. You'll do this by building and nurturing pipelines for critical roles, partnering with leaders, and ensuring a seamless, professional candidate experience. Your work will directly support workforce planning and help us hire high quality talent aligned to our business objectives.
* Design & optimise sourcing strategy: Co‑design a comprehensive A.NZ recruitment strategy aligned to workforce needs, monitor market and competitor trends, and continuously build proactive pipelines for critical roles.
* Deliver with data: Track funnel metrics, diagnose bottlenecks and recommend improvements; drive simplification and efficiency through technology, insights, AI and automation.
* Enhance our tech stack: Contribute to the continuous improvement of Workday recruitment functionality to ensure efficient, compliant and consistent hiring workflows.
* Run great processes: Support end‑to‑end recruitment such as advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing and offers - while maintaining timely, respectful candidate communications and compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
* Partner widely: Build trusted relationships with hiring leaders and manage external partners as needed.
About you:
* Sharp organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Clear, confident written and verbal communication; strong influencing skills and are stakeholder savvy.
* Experience designing and executing talent sourcing strategies and end‑to‑end recruitment in partnership with hiring managers.
* Data‑driven approach to decision‑making and process improvement; strict confidentiality and care with sensitive data.
* Knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices and strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment legislation.
* Hands‑on experience with HCM/HRIS recruitment functions and sourcing channels, in particular Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter.
