We are seeking a talented individual to join our LGM Assets Team at JLT Risk Solutions Pty Ltd (a business of Marsh). This role will be based in Brisbane, QLD office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

What can you expect?
This role is attached to the LGM Assets scheme within JLT's Public Sector Division. The primary focus of the role is the development of relationships with and the enhancement of the service experience for a portfolio of Queensland Councils (LGM Assets scheme members) in order to generate revenue, develop new business and retain and grow the current scheme membership.
We Will Count On You To
Support Account Managers in the development, implementation and management of risk transfer programs which accurately address Member needs, including within LGM Assets scheme arrangements.Proactive approach to all aspects of service delivery to Members, ensuring needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.Implement successful Member retention and defence a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments.Support Account Managers to grow existing portfolio with new products or servicesIdentify and develop new business opportunitiesResearch & self-awareness of all large & potentially complicated claim matters, & negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of Members in conjunction with the LGM Assets and Echelon Claims teams.Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key Member Council personnel to preserve and protect the Company's and Scheme's relationships with MembersDevelop and maintain meaningful working relationships with supporting Underwriters and other professional services firmsRecognise and capitalise on revenue generation, growth and other opportunitiesActively develop additional business from existing portfolioTimely and accurate production, processing and delivery of Member documentationMaintain records in Broking and other JLT systemsDevelop and maintain technical knowledge required to support the business needsAny other ad-hoc tasks as required.Contribute to the professional image of JLT through high standards of personal and professional knowledge and presentation.
What You Need To Have
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in general insurance brokingIdeally with Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualificationSound knowledge and application of broking principles, insurance products and servicesSound knowledge of sales and marketing principles and their application within the insurance marketExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProactive ability to anticipate Member and colleague's needs and meet or exceed themProblem solver - ability to recognise and solve problems for Members and colleagues
