About Our Role
For more than 19 years, WGA has been delivering a broad range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for utilities, local government clients and contractors. Exciting developments include recent partnership arrangements across major works panels within Water and Resources, securing long term, sustainable projects. Based upon these recent successes we are looking to bolster our team with the addition of a Senior Water Engineer. Duties will include:
- Deliver the detailed design of a broad range of water and waste projects including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities and managed aquifer recharge schemes.
- Provide technical mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and sustainable solutions.
- Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment and success.
About you
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- 7+ years’ experience delivering engineering solutions for water/wastewater infrastructure projects
- Chartered Engineer status (CPEng or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of Australian water industry standards and sustainability practices.
- Consulting experience
- Proven track record of technical leadership and mentoring
- A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to get involved and lead others, whilst contributing to a vibrant team.
- Up for the challenge of contributing to growing our water business across Australia.
