SummaryAvanade's Advisory & Experiences practice is evolving to meet growing demand for technology‐led advisory that bridges strategy and delivery. As a Technology Advisory Manager, you will play a key role in helping clients translate their ambition into practical, executable technology roadmaps, with a strong emphasis on effective operating models, AI transformation, and data and application modernisation using the Microsoft ecosystem. As a Manager in Technical Advisory, you will work closely with clients, shaping early‐stage engagements, and partnering with delivery teams to ensure advisory outcomes lead to tangible impact. You'll work across industries and solution areas, supporting senior leaders while building your own advisory craft and leadership capability. As a Technology Advisory Manager, you will support and lead advisory engagements with senior client stakeholders (typically CIO, CTO, CDO, and business leaders), helping them assess their current technology landscape and define clear paths forward. You will focus on making strategy actionable—understanding current state, identifying opportunities for improvement, developing business cases, and shaping initiatives that Avanade can deliver. You'll also contribute to opportunity development and help create pull‐through into broader delivery work across Data & AI, Business Applications, Modern Workplace, Cloud, and Security. You will be measured on quality of advisory delivery, client satisfaction, and your contribution to sustainable pipeline and team development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead or support technology advisory engagements, assessing applications, data, platforms, and operating models to develop pragmatic transformation roadmaps
* Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives that consider organisational readiness, constraints, and risk
* Contribute to the development of business cases, investment proposals, and phased delivery plans
* Support executive and senior leadership conversations by bringing structured insights, options, and recommendations
* Connect client needs to Avanade's solution portfolio, working closely with delivery and solution teams
* Collaborate with Microsoft account teams and internal stakeholders to identify and shape opportunities
* Manage and mentor consultants and senior consultants, supporting their development and engagement quality
* Play an active role in internal capability building, asset development, and knowledge sharing within the Tech Advisory community
