Medium Rare Content Agency (MRCA) is seeking an experienced campaign and content strategist to deliver robust omni-channel strategies and commercial solutions for our clients. We need a person who is dedicated to responding to client campaigns and always-on briefs by leveraging data, insights and research for a range of audiences.
Reporting to the Head of Content, Food & Homes, your focus will be on responding to client briefs for always-on executions or campaigns. This role will work closely with the editorial, commercial and client teams. It requires an ability to engage a range of stakeholders, with a hands-on and can-do approach.

**What's the role?**
Working in collaboration with the content and insights teams, you'll drive the client campaign and content strategy response process, from insights to presentation, through to oversight on implementation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading brief response process and responding to briefs.
- Owning all deadlines for content planning deliverables.
- Collaborating with research and content peers to develop content strategies, and build decks and presentations that answer our clients needs concisely.
- Converting clients' business requirements and objectives into content opportunities.
- Engaging stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver best practice, business focussed outcomes.
- Prioritising important tasks and working independently where necessary.
**Who you are**
- You are audience driven, creatively minded, and future focussed, identifying innovative ways to connect with and engage readers, viewers and scrollers.
- You develop robust commercial content strategies that deliver on client's goals and budgets.
- You are a strong communicator and are confident presenting virtually and in person.
- 3+ years across editorial or branded/commercial content.
- Demonstrated experience in developing cross channel strategies for varied audiences.
- Hands-on approach, and ability to create and deliver presentations.
- Understanding of data and insights, and how they contribute to development of content strategy.
- Strong understanding of the role of content for SEO, digital and social channels.
- Broad understanding of content production processes.
- Financial savvy, and the ability to work within budgets.
- An understanding of the dynamics of content marketing in Australia, and a desire to be at the cusp of new channels and opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills, and experience building and managing relationships at all levels (internal and external).
- A self-motivated, agile and flexible approach.
- Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- You are detail and deadline focused.
