About The Job
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager - Operations to join us on a 12 months fixed-term contract. In this role, you will report to the Finance Director and support the Finance Team and Supply Chain functions with COGS/FX management, logistics, other material costs, and non-quality costs/write-offs. You will also be the point of contact for system-related queries. Additionally, this role involves business partnering with the Supply Chain Director .
Your Responsibilities
* COGS Management : Support finance in managing COGS for ANZ, including budgeting, forecasts, reconciliation, inventory revaluation, and SAP pricing updates.
* Other Material Costs : Monitor and report monthly on costs like customs duties, freight, packaging, rework, and align forecasts.
* Logistics Cost Management : Act as a Business Partner to the Supply Chain Director, leading reviews, monitoring costs, ensuring timely accruals, and managing write-offs.
* Forex/Hedges : Update hedge exposure, liaise with Treasury, capture impacts, and highlight risks.
* Systems : Serve as the first contact for Tagetik and Power BI, perform operational processing and statutory closure.
* Monthly Reviews : Conduct monthly reviews with local finance and regional teams.
* Ad hoc : Support the Finance Director and team as needed.
About you
You are results-driven with a strong FMCG financial background, specializing in COGS, FX, and supply chain costs. You possess advanced SAP and Excel skills, and excel in cross-functional collaboration in dynamic environments.
Ideally, you will have
* 5-7 years of FMCG experience in financial management, P&L support, especially in Operations.
* Proven business partnering experience with non-finance teams and expertise in Operations and Financial Systems.
* Advanced Excel skills, SAP, and reporting systems like TM1 or COGNOS, with a good understanding of Operations, COGS, and FX.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
* A tertiary qualification in Finance/Commerce, with CPA/CA/CIMA certification.
