This Centre will offer Radiation Oncology treatment options through cutting edge technology.With construction well underway, we're now hiring our Radiation Therapist team to join us in the lead up to opening day in August 2025.About the Role:We are seeking Radiation Therapists of all levels to join us at our new cancer treatment centre in North Adelaide. The primary purpose of the position is to provide quality radiation therapy treatment as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. This role reports to the Clinical Lead Radiation therapist and will operate in a full-time capacity (9-day fortnight).Key Responsibilities:Deliver high quality radiation therapy planning and treatment services to patients.Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.Treat all patients and their carers with respect and equality maintaining dignity at all times.Senior RT (in addition to above):Support the Charge RT and/or RT Manager in the day-to-day management of a planning or treatment unitEffectively prioritise the workload and duties of other RTs on the unitPerform quality assurance checks on treatment plans to ensure safe delivery of careAct as a technical resource, and support the development of all staff in the unitAbout you:Our dynamic and innovative teams collaborate closely to maintain a team focus on providing cutting edge radiation therapy techniques. We are looking for someone who is highly enthusiastic, motivated and quick to adapt in a supportive environment.Skills & Experience:Demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services.Apply effective communication and interpersonal skills to represent Icon in a strong and positive manner to all stakeholders.Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery (desired).Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures.Valid General Registration with AHPRA as a radiation therapist.Valid SA Radiation License to use a radiation sourceAdequate professional indemnity insurance as required by AHPRA.Senior RT (in addition to above):Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in radiation therapy planning and delivery required to perform patient quality assurance checksDemonstrated leadership qualities with capacity to lead small teams under guidanceDemonstrated capacity to develop, implement, monitor, and report on clinical protocols and adherenceIcon Cancer Centre - Australia and New ZealandIcon Cancer Centre are pioneers of private cancer care in Australia with over 35 years' experience.
