Sipo Building Solutions Pty Ltd, trading as Walsc AAC Panel Systems, is one of the only two Australian premier suppliers of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) wall and flooring systems in the commercial building sector.
Since ****, Walsc has provided high-quality AAC building solutions on projects throughout Australia, including low-rise residential developments, high-rise apartments, warehouses and commercial buildings.
Supported by strong technical support, quality testing and commitment to innovation, we have gained the confidence of architects, builder and certifiers across Australia.
About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Yatala, QLD, reporting directly to the State Manager.
As a Commercial Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Walsc's market presence across Queensland and interstate by building partnerships with architects, builders and developers in high-rise apartment & office building sector.
You will drive specifications, identify opportunities and develop sales strategies to grow our footprint within the commercial construction sector.
Your week will include a mix of client meetings, project specification work, relationship management and on-site or virtual presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, builders, developers and contractors.
Promoting Walsc's AAC wall and flooring systems into commercial projects.
Conducting technical presentations and product training for specifiers and trade partners.
Managing and nurturing a pipeline of projects from design stage through to installation.
Collaborating with internal technical and marketing teams to support tender submissions, design specifications, and promotional campaigns.
Identifying new business opportunities, tenders and strategic partnerships.
Providing market feedback and competitor insights to support business growth strategies.
Representing Walsc at trade shows, roadshows and industry events to enhance brand exposure.
About You
You're a confident, results-driven professional who thrives on building relationships and influencing project outcomes from concept to completion.
You combine commercial acumen with technical understanding and are passionate about advancing sustainable, high-quality building solutions.
We'd love to meet someone who:
Has proven sales or business development experience within the commercial building material industry.
Possesses established networks among architects, builders, and developers.
Understands building codes, specifications and construction workflows.
Is confident presenting to both architectural practices and site teams.
Demonstrates excellent communication, negotiation and CRM management skills.
Holds a degree or diploma in Business, Architecture, Construction, or Engineering (preferred but not essential).
Has strong strategic thinking and planning abilities with attention to detail.
Possesses a valid driver's licence and is available for regular travel within Queensland and Northern NSW.
