**The Opportunity**
**Please note**, this position is primarily based at the Caboolture campus, but flexibility is essential, as you'll occasionally work at the Moreton Bay campus. You may also be required to travel to the Sippy Downs campus for events and team meetings.
**You will**
- provide technical expertise and support to undergraduate and post graduate teaching and facilitate high-fidelity simulated learning for students across the disciplines of Nursing and Midwifery;
- instruct in the use of simulation equipment and clinical learning facilities and oversee the operation of the technology to ensure safe and effective use of the equipment; and
- train and at times supervise casual team members when required.
**About you**
You have exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and through active listening. You excel both as a team player and when working independently, demonstrating initiative and adaptability in the face of change and new situations. In high-volume work environments, you thrive under mínimal supervision, efficiently managing your tasks. Additionally, your strong analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to tackle challenges with confidence and deliver effective solutions.
**You will possess**:
- Completion of a relevant degree with experience in the provision of a broad range of clinical activities in support of teaching in a health-related disciple. An alternative combination of relevant knowledge, training and experience would be considered, however, experience as a registered nurse is advantageous;
- A demonstrated commitment to utilising simulation methodology in learning and its ability to transform education; and
- Ability to acquire knowledge of policies, guidelines and legislation relevant to clinical spaces and technical services including health and safety requirements and experience in performing, documenting and implementing outcomes of risk assessments.
