About the role
The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for assisting with driving the delivery, backlog, and prioritisation of our In-store payments roadmap and working closely with the Senior Product Manager, Technical leads and external Partners to ensure alignment with the direction and product vision. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of merchant payments, and a proven track record of delivering initiatives, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
What you’ll do:
* Support the Senior Product Manager Instore in concert with the technical teams and partners to enable the product outcomes
* Working within the squads that deliver the product features to market
* Support the develop of the product delivery roadmap, ensuring it is up date and prioritised and support Issue triage and resolution for both business and technical resolutions
* Ensure the products meet customer, business, regulatory and compliance requirements
* Lead the development and maintenance of Instore supporting processes & procedures and ensure these are kept up to date and communicated with the relevant teams
* Manage cross-product dependencies with other Product Managers and teams across the Wpay and Woolworths Group ecosystem
* Provide support to the Sales/BD teams to respond to product-related feedback and improvement requests
What you’ll bring:
* 5+ years of technical, business analysis and project delivery experience with Instore devices and considered a subject matter expert in your field
* Deep understanding of card payments & Instore technology
* Proven track record of supporting Product backlogs & feeding requirements into squads
* Excellent business & technical analyst skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent process development and management skills
* Desirable: knowledge of Agile methodology for product development, commercial acumen, understanding of cards scheme compliance and Android terminals & app management experience
