Your new role
As a Finance Officer (APS4), you will be part of a collaborative team delivering a broad range of financial operations. The Finance Officer role will see you rotating across key functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and travel administration.
Your responsibilities will include invoice processing, receipting, bank reconciliations and customer account management. You will support staff with purchasing, travel bookings and acquittals, and assist with end-of-month processing activities.
The Finance Officer will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders, manage shared finance inboxes and provide guidance on financial processes. This is a varied and hands-on role where strong organisation and attention to detail will be key.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as a Finance Officer, you will bring:
* Baseline Security Clearance
* Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or general finance operations
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A collaborative approach and ability to work in a team environment
* Experience with TechnologyOne or similar financial systems (desirable)
* Australian citizenship (mandatory for APS roles)
