The Opportunity A well-established national HVAC services business is seeking an experienced Minor Works Manager to lead the delivery of small to medium projects across a key WA portfolio. This role is responsible for estimating, securing, engineering, and delivering minor works from award through to completion and defects liability, ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to a high standard of client satisfaction. You will work closely with operations, finance, HSEQ, and client stakeholders, taking ownership of commercial outcomes while driving efficient delivery and team performance. Key Responsibilities Project & Commercial Management End-to-end management of allocated minor works projects, from quotation through to DLP Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with margin expectations Monitor WIP, productivity, GP, and cost performance against budget Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce unnecessary expenditure Ensure quoted works are actioned, tracked, and closed out effectively Drive revenue growth through proactive conversion of client opportunities and pull-through work Operational Performance Maintain strong control of job completion, paperwork, invoicing, and PM compliance Ensure no aged or stagnant jobs beyond agreed timeframes Implement streamlined, consistent processes aligned with company operating procedures Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across service and minor works delivery Safety & Compliance Lead by example in WHS compliance and safe work practices Ensure teams are adequately resourced, trained, and equipped to work safely Participate in safety leadership initiatives and incident investigations Promote a proactive safety culture across the team Client & Stakeholder Management Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across allocated client sites Build strong working relationships with client representatives and contractors Monitor and act on client feedback and satisfaction data Act as a trusted point of contact for minor works delivery People Leadership Recruit, onboard, and develop team members as required Plan and allocate resources to meet workload, productivity, and quality targets Support performance management, training, and capability development Foster a positive, accountable team culture aligned with company values About You Proven experience managing HVAC minor works or small projects within a service-based environment Strong understanding of commercial drivers including revenue, margin, productivity, and WIP Confident communicator with the ability to manage clients, technicians, and internal stakeholders Organised, analytical, and capable of juggling multiple projects concurrently Safety-focused leader who sets clear expectations and standards Skills & Experience Essential Trade or technical qualifications in HVAC or a related discipline Minimum 5 years' experience in the HVAC industry, including a supervisory or management role Strong financial and commercial awareness within a service business High-level verbal and written communication skills Competent with Excel and data-driven reporting Solid understanding of WHS requirements Desirable Experience working within structured service or facilities environments Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Ability to use data to inform operational and commercial decisions What's On Offer Key leadership role within a stable, well-established HVAC services business Strong pipeline of minor works across commercial clients Competitive salary package with long-term career progression Supportive leadership structure and national backing In the past 5 years we have been extremely humbled to have placed over 16,000 people into meaningful employment.
