About The Role
Clarence Valley Council is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic person to join our Floodplain team. If you enjoy working with people, like to make a difference and be involved with supporting the Community, then please apply for this position. As Senior Field Operator (Floodplain), you will coordinate and supervise operational staff to deliver floodplain maintenance and construction works safely, efficiently and in accordance with Council standards. The role includes liaising with the community, government agencies, contractors and landowners, as outlined in the Position Description. The successful applicant will be required to undertake after hours work as required, including call outs and participation in on-call rosters during Flood Watches.

Other Important Information
This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future. A probation period applies to this position.
