Roles and Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver professional proposals and design documentation including HLD and LLD based upon customer requirement.
* Perform design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Routing/Switching and SD‐WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki & VMware Velocloud).
* Produce detailed low‐level Visio drawings.
* Configure and manage Cisco & Juniper products across LAN and WAN environments.
* Apply IP/MPLS and Ethernet technologies.
* Work with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and Layer 2 technologies like STP, VLANs, Trunks, Port‐Channel, and Static Routing.
* Implement and troubleshoot IP services including IPv4/IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QoS, and SNMP.
* Handle networking topologies and protocols such as MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping, and QoS.
* Participate in design, implementation, migration, and problem resolution projects involving enterprise network technologies.
* Provide expertise in wireless technologies including WLAN topologies, devices, troubleshooting, and 802.11 network security architecture.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure successful activation and delivery of services.
* Design, implementation, and assurance of Layer 3 network services.
* Lead large‐scale rollouts & migrations (MPLS → SD‐WAN).
* Hands‐on expertise in Palo Alto Prisma SD‐WAN architecture, including:
o ION devices (branch, DC, cloud)
o Controllers, management portals, and analytics
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 4 years of experience in Activation and Implementation.
* Deep knowledge of Routing/Switching and SD‐WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki & VMware Velocloud).
* Hands‐on experience with Cisco & Juniper networking products.
* Strong understanding of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and enterprise network architectures.
* Proficiency in protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, Trunks, Port‐Channel.
* Experience with IP services: IPv4/IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QoS, SNMP.
* Familiarity with MPLS, VRF, SIP, and traffic‐shaping techniques.
* Exposure to wireless LAN technologies and security standards (802.11).
* Ability to work on design, implementation, and troubleshooting projects independently.
Certifications
* CCNP (Cisco) – Mandatory
* Palo‐Alto Firewall – Mandatory
* JNCIA (Juniper)
* Meraki/Viptela/Prisma SD‐WAN
