Role overview
Leading a highly motivated and dedicated team of seventeen (17), divided into online and graphic design teams, this role is responsible for the contemporary positioning of the Department of Justice and Attorney General to the wider community.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need high-level leadership and communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. As a communication professional, you will have experience in developing content, campaigns and strategies across digital and traditional media.
You can quickly build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, providing specialist advice and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects and corporate objectives. As an inspirational and inclusive leader, you will enhance the creativity, talents and ability of your team.
Coupled with your corporate communication experience, you will be steadfast in nature and agile in response. You won't crack under pressure and, with your team, will deliver high quality outputs that are accessible, effective and meet customers' needs. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing the branch's business strategies.

Communication Services falls within the People and Engagement Branch of the Corporate Services division of the DJAG. The Branch delivers services including human resources, communication services, culture and capability, health safety and wellbeing, and HR systems and reporting.
