ACS has an exciting opportunity for a proactive Business Development Representative to drive growth and build strong enterprise relationships across Australia's technology and education sectors.
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering new enterprise accounts that generate membership, sponsorship, and workforce development revenue. You'll identify and engage new partners, nurture long-term relationships, and contribute directly to ACS's vision of developing a world-leading technology workforce in Australia.
Working closely with the National Sales Manager, Branch Managers, and internal teams, you'll convert opportunities into partnerships, deliver value-driven solutions, and ensure a seamless transition from acquisition to account management.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role with the potential to transition to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop strategic account plans focused on new enterprise business opportunities.
* Represent ACS to potential members and partners through industry engagements and events.
* Collaborate with the National Sales Manager and Branch Managers to deliver an integrated program of national and local partnership activity.
* Identify and connect with key enterprise and industry stakeholders.
* Support upselling initiatives such as learning and development, sponsorship, certifications, and workforce development programs.
* Inform and maintain streamlined processes for acquiring and onboarding new members using ACS's CRM systems.
* Work with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Workforce Development) to align initiatives with ACS's strategic goals.
* Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new opportunities, and ways to increase member value.
* Ensure compliance with ACS's financial, legal, and governance processes.
* Provide accurate reporting on opportunities and pipeline progress.
About You
You're a motivated and commercially minded professional with a passion for connecting with people and driving results. You enjoy identifying new opportunities, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are confident in building relationships with corporate and industry stakeholders.
What You Bring
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales, partnerships, or business development role with demonstrated success in achieving targets.
* Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
* Customer-focused mindset with the ability to uncover a prospect's needs.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and deliver practical solutions.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
