We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marine (Pacific) Insurance team at Marsh Australia. This role will be based in Sydney office. This is a fulltime and hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

* Manage all aspects of a portfolio of Marine insurance accounts, including monthly bordereaux processes and compliance requirements operated under an insurer delegation authority.
* Manage renewal and service cycles, ensuring a high degree of quality customer service and adherence to the Marsh client‐first principles.
* Conduct risk assessment, quotation slip preparation, placement and negotiations, assisting colleagues within the APAC region in policy administration, claims support, client billing, and monitoring/inputting via MShare, MPower, M360, and Camunda platforms.
* Work productively alongside the Team Leader, Senior Account Executive, and operations teams to contribute to client retention and growth targets through clear communication, proactive planning, delivery, and expectation management.
* Contribute toward the company's profit objectives by effectively managing and attaining revenue budgets, consistently growing the portfolio through new business and cross‐sell initiatives.
* Contribute toward achieving team business plans and objectives.
* Create quality underwriting submissions and negotiate effectively with insurers and stakeholders.

What you need to have:

* A minimum of 2+ years' experience in marine insurance broking with a developing understanding of business and organisational risk management.
* A proven track record of managing client accounts and engagement.
* Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* Ideally a Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) or a degree in a related field.
* Must have Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (NIBA) or Senior Associate (ANZIIF).
