We are now seeking an experienced and capable Site Manager to lead our well-established Silvan facility.
Dogdayz Silvan is a busy, established site with a loyal client base, an experienced team and proven systems. This role suits a confident leader who enjoys managing people, maintaining high standards and building a growing business.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of the Silvan site, including:
* Day-to-day management of boarding and daycare operations
* Staff leadership, training, rostering and performance management
* Maintaining high standards of animal care, safety and hygiene
* Client communication and service delivery
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
* Managing workflows, resources and site efficiency
* Supporting business growth and maintaining a positive team culture
* Driving site performance, controlling costs and improving profitability
This is a full-time role with on-call responsibilities as required. Staff working hours are typically 7:30am – 5:00pm, with additional time expected as part of management responsibilities (first in, last out). Annual leave must be taken during non-peak periods, as school holidays are the busiest times for our industry.
Required Attributes
* Proven leadership and management experience (animal care, hospitality, operations or similar)
* Physically fit for an active, hands-on role
* Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
* Managing established systems while improving processes
* Ability to build and maintain a positive workplace culture
* Sales ability and entrepreneurial flair
* Animal-handling experience (professional or otherwise) and confident in managing animal behaviours.
