MYtech Consulting Services is a growing IT service provider, providing services to public and private sector clients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Governance Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract within NTG. The Program Governance Officer will provide secretariat and program and project governance support services across a variety of projects currently being undertaken by the NT Police Force.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality administrative support for programs and projects being undertaken by the NT Police Force (NTPF), including preparing and maintaining documentation, information management, project reporting and briefing materials, ensuring compliance with project management frameworks and standards.
* Manage project performance reporting and outcome reporting systems, and prepare high-quality reports, submissions and briefings.
* Provide specialist advice to inform governance, quality assurance and risk mitigation frameworks, standards, and processes for the NTPF programs and projects.
* Maintain and improve positive relationships with key stakeholders across each program and project to facilitate a collaborative approach to quality governance processes, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure Governance plans and processes are adhered to.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure alignment with other activities across the program and projects, actively participating and contributing innovative ideas and solutions for the work unit and division.
Candidate Requirements
* National Police Clearance (mandatory)
* PF166 (mandatory)
* High-level secretariat expertise, including facilitation of governance and steering committee meetings.
* Strong knowledge of governance and risk management frameworks, with the ability to support projects through complex change, shifting priorities, and political sensitivities.
* Advanced project administration expertise, applying analytical and problem‐solving skills to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement through innovative solutions.
* Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including mediation and negotiation, enabling collaboration at all levels and the management of diverse stakeholder relationships.
* Proven ability to understand stakeholder perspectives and adapt communication styles to support outcome‐focused governance.
* Strong capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, high‐quality outcomes with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficient in managing registers and databases, with strong experience in MS Office and SharePoint, and the ability to quickly learn project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
