You will receive a company car, phone and all equipment to do your role remotely. Generally you will spend 80% of your time in the field and the rest of the time managing your team from the comfort of home. Hours are somewhat flexible to allow for work/life balance, as that is highly important in our workplace.
Our products are merchandised in Supermarkets and Newsagents, so during covid we were part of essential services. This allows our staff peace of mind and as a well-established and reputable Company, we pride ourselves on creativity, innovation, success and respect which has made us a leader in our field!
Reporting to the State Manager you will be responsible for supporting and maximising profitable sales of John Sales products through the supervision and training of merchandisers in an assigned territory across independent and national retailers. This territory covers South Sydney to Western Sydney. Some overnight travel will be required to regional areas.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Supervising merchandisers within your designated territory
* Assigning merchandising resources to meet operational requirements
* Conducting independent audits of national account stores
* Assisting in conducting revamps and installations
* Planning merchandiser work schedules for assigned territory
* Identifying sales opportunities and reporting on competitor activity
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous merchandising and/or retail management experience
* Demonstrated ability to manage a team and work schedules
* Strong administrative focus
* A creative, innovative and positive attitude
* A strong attention to detail and take pride in your work
