MANAGER ROLE
The Hyde Park Tavern is seeking a Venue Manager/Duty Manager. Someone who is keen to deliver exceptional service and uphold a customer-focused culture. You will be responsible for the venue's daily operations while working within a team to form a highly motivated workforce. Shifts are over a seven-day roster including nights and weekends. Salary is negotiable.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Hold a current RSA, RCG, and RP.
Previous management experience within the hospitality industry, ideally working across food, bars, and gaming (minimum 1-2 years).
Experience in stock control, rostering, and cash balancing.
Ability to teach and develop staff in all facets of food and beverage knowledge, customer service, and workplace efficiency.
Knowledge of TAB and Keno is preferred but not essential.
H&L and Workforce knowledge is preferable.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Venue - open/close venue.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Fostering a strong and experienced team through training and staff management.
Taking reservations and organizing functions. Involved in stock intake and ordering supplies.
Customer Service.
Attending regular meetings with management and staff.
Management of rostering and wage percentage control.
GAMING STAFF ALSO REQUIRED
Casual gaming staff required.
Hold a current RSA and RCG.
Must be able to work well within a team environment & independently.
