About The Role
The Associate Director, Country Operations Manager (AD COM) oversees the daily management of a local team of clinical monitors, including staff planning, resource utilization, goal setting, and performance development. The role ensures study deliverables meet timelines, adhere to operational procedures, quality standards, SOPs, and guidelines. Additionally, the AD COM may contribute to regional/global initiatives and undertake project management tasks.
Essential For The Role
* Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, preferably life sciences, or equivalent qualification.
* Experience as a CRA line manager within a pharmaceutical or sponsor clinical research team.
* Strong leadership skills to foster team growth and support local strategy implementation.
* Business acumen to understand company direction and communicate effectively at the team level.
* Solution-oriented mindset and ability to lead through ambiguity.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, proactivity, and assertiveness.
* Ability to manage change positively for self, team, and business.
Desirable for the Role
* Experience in rare diseases.
* Prior CRA and/or project management experience.
* Knowledge of the monitoring process.
