We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse & Sales Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level role offering a pathway into a long-term sales position for the right candidate.
This position combines warehouse operations with customer service and sales support. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient stock handling while also assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
* Occasional weekend work required during peak periods, sales events, and staff leave coverage
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
* Receive and unload deliveries, checking goods against invoices for accuracy
* Report any damaged or missing items
* Organise and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
* Perform regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy
* Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch or collection
* Provide friendly and professional service to customers in-store and over the phone
* Assist with product enquiries and offer technical advice on tools and materials
* Process sales transactions, invoices, and payments using POS and inventory systems
* Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and add-ons
Skills & Requirements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable using warehouse systems, barcode scanners, and basic Microsoft Office programs
* Physically fit, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 30kg
